The community seems to have a large number of people interested in sustainability and willing to brainstorm and discuss different ideas. We are located within close proximity to many different farms making local, farm to fork food available. North Carolina has a great climate making things like backyard and community gardens possible. Elon University is close by providing us with good resources. It is easy to forget what is already available to us and instead focus on what we need. How can we make the resources already in Alamance County work to our advantage and help create a more sustainable community?
