A weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday ) with components including any of the following-Hanging Rock State Park, the Dan River, zip lining, cycling, tours of farms - Plum Granny, Oldtown Farm, (to name just two) truffles, vineyards, organic/heritage farms, a play by the Stokes County Arts Council, Stokes Stomp(at the appropriate time of year), accommodations at a local B&B, a meal & musical entertainment at Hill Billy Hideway, picnic at Moratock Park-the list goes on and on. If a brochure listed various packages of 3 day options it makes it easy for Stokes to be a destination for more than a day at the time.
