Four (4) Civic Forum participants identified "Abandoned Job Centers" as one of Rockingham County's greatest challenges. Particiapnts agreed that manuafacturing has been a big part of the County's local economy, but that most of those jobs have gone overseas and are not likely to return. Therefore, it's important for the County to identify new uses for these old "job centers" and to establish new job centers in the new economy.
