Homelessness is a big issue in the Piedmont Triad, one with families and individuals, down on their luck or struggling with complex problems, often hidden from view under bridges or informal camps or overlooked as we pass them on street-corners. In Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Surry County, Winston-Salem and other Piedmont Triad communities, organizations and volunteers are working actively on coordinating services and finding pathways out of homelessness.
What should the Piedmont Triad's communities and organizations do to address homelessness in a compassionate and effective way, whether locally and regionally?
