What more can we do to get the word out? How can we get more people involved? What do you think is the best way to get the plan in front of as many people as possible?
248 people attended 13 'forums'. if they are all like the one I attended, only about 13% were private citizens. the rest were government employees who are mostly interested in maintaining their employment which depends on projects like this. so about 35 private citizens attended. this clear lack of interest on the part of the private citizenry means the DOT, HUD, EPA and DOA should kill the project, stop spending the money, and stop trying to establish a centrally managed citizen environment like the old USSR and China. those failed and we should have learned from those failures.
I reviewed all the attendee list. None of the 248 folks that signed in are part of the paid project staff. One person attend two forums and there were four instances when folks assisting us(not part of the paid staff)signed in.
