I think that Asheville has the right idea as to how to keep up with “greening” economy. It is not the businesses that need to change in our area nor is I the government that needs to enforce regulation on the hard working people of this area. There needs to be a change among the minds and practices of the people within an area that ultimately brings change. Because it will not matter if there is a regulation today or tomorrow the end result of whether an economy can sustain itself will rely on the availability of the resources that it needs in order to survive. Whether it is clean water, air, energy, or an educated workforce business will struggle and suffocate themselves if these basic requirements are not met.
