A year round mini amusement park & playground where families with children under 12 could come, picnic and watch their children at play. Although this is an business idea of my own, I wanted to put this out there haven seen the large population of children here in High Point. Also, a affordable family friendly arts & entertainment theater in the evening and weekends year around that would generate some income for the city. The High Point Theater as it is, is a waste of space. None of their scheduled programming is of interest to anyone else but the tiny amount of patrons that barely fill up the auditorium. Either revitalize the administrations booking of relevent quality entertainment or use one of the dozens of furniture buildings as a new theater.
