High Point needs help. Fast food, car dealerships and furniture is all that's really here. The Oak Hollow mall needs more vendors and the University doesnt need it with its already 300 acres of land. I need this city to pull in more business and hire its citizens and train them to be more productive in order for everyone to benefit. My idea would be to send out a marketing package to woo small business throughout the state if not nationally to invite small and medium businesses (retail, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale)to come and set up shop here. There are MANY vacant buildings, and land to be purchased and built on. If you want to generate income for the city to help other areas; a formal business invitation (from a special website to a video presentation on a DVD to an information packet (a folder with color pics of the city,facts and figures as to all the positive points as to why their business would fit in the city.)would do.
