It seems that there is a lot of false information, and in some cases anger centered on bicycle usage on the road. Yes, we need to increase the infrastructure so it is safer for cyclists, but there needs to be some education for both cyclists and motorists on how to behave around each other. With the cost of the bike and gear a cyclist is using, it averages $3000.00. Every ten cyclists you see means the money for one job, paying $30,000.00 a year has been put in the economy. Thinking of it like that makes it easier to put up with bikes on the road.
